One of the Fine Art Trade Guild’s commended framers, with over 15 years of experience of the picture framing trade in England; Steve Young has now opened his own framing shop in The Hague.
Situated close to the British School, at Theresiastraat 268, easy parking and long opening hours means that the drop off and collection of work is convenient and hassle free.

Experienced in the art of conservation work using acid free materials and museum conservation techniques, he is able to advise customers on the best way to protect their works of art.
A range of over two hundred frame styles and dozens of mountboard colours can make frame and mounting selection difficult. Advice and opinion are readily available.
He is also able to advise on the cleaning and restoration of oil paintings.

All work is carried out in the workshop on the premises which allows complete control of the framing process, and a policy of Quality and Service means that customers can be sure that their work will be handled with care and consideration.
A school swimming certificate is treated with no less respect than a 17th century hand coloured etching.

Customers can also be sure that the person they handed their artwork over to, will be the person who actually does the work, so any special requirements or instructions will not be lost by being passed to a third party.

The shop carries a selected range of high class Limited Edition prints by artists such as David Shepherd and Gerald Coulson and a selection of hand coloured reproduction maps of Holland as a whole, or specific areas such as Den Haag, Delft or Scheveningen.

As well as picture framing the shop will hold regular exhibitions of art by both established and new artists, and it is hoped that we can support and give exposure to art projects in local schools and the community.
